The Gig Grande Parade
The Grande Gig Parade

Theme: The 2026 Maritime Gig Festival Parade theme is “Stars and Stripes.” We look forward to seeing how you incorporate classic small-town Americana and waterfront pride. Let’s fill Gig Harbor with community pride and a bright patriotic salute for this special anniversary year.
The Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce parade is an annual celebration of the community in which we live, highlighting our rich history, traditions, and economic vitality. Spectators are welcome to line up anywhere along the parade route to watch. Generally, anywhere between 6,000-8,000 people attend the festival each day. Make your plans to join us for a fun weekend! The event is open to the public and has a large number of partners and sponsors, which includes our amazing Commodore sponsor MultiCare.
Up to 100 parade applications are accepted from businesses and organizations who wish to participate in Gig Harbor's biggest summer event. The final deadline for applications is on May 1, 2026, or until registration is full.
Be sure to read the Parade Packet and get your parade application in early - this parade WILL to sell out again this year. Please note that only cars that are registered to a business can enter the parade. Personal cars are not allowed.
This year we are not accepting print applications for the parade.
