Established in 1976, Gig Harbor Academy is the oldest private school in Gig Harbor, Washington. Originally founded as a one-room schoolhouse on ten acres of natural surroundings, Gig Harbor Academy has grown into a vibrant school community that invites preschool through fifth grade students to think expansively and develop a love for learning.

Gig Harbor Academy continues to follow its guiding principles by embracing a student-centered approach to teaching and by upholding experiential, inquiry-based learning.
