Everyone loves percussion — especially kids! Take a whirlwind tour of the percussion family with the Symphony Tacoma Percussion Quartet! Musical selections include favorites from the Pink Panther, the story of “Mr. Brown Can Moo” and more! Mini Maestros is an informal concert series specially created for children ages 2 to 8 offering an interactive, close encounter with Symphony Tacoma musicians and their instruments. Educators introduce the instruments and explain musical concepts as musicians play a selection of songs to get kids singing, dancing, marching and clapping along. Concert time is 2:30 p.m. with an instrument petting zoo at 1:30 p.m.
