Explore the elements of rhythm, timbre and pulse and get an inside look at the world of percussion instruments from around the world. Pack your imagination as we embark on this exciting adventure! Mini Maestros is an informal concert series specially created for children ages 2 to 8 that offer an interactive encounter with Symphony Tacoma musicians and their instruments. An instrument “petting zoo” that allows children to touch and try out the musical instruments begins one hour before the concert.
