Gig Harbor Celebrates: America 250 Kid and Pet Parade!

Join the Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce, Gig Harbor Waterfront Alliance, City of Gig Harbor, Gig Harbor Kiwanis Club, PenMet Parks, and the YMCA in celebrating America's 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

It's a 4th of July celebration like Gig Harbor has never seen before!

Kid & Pet Parade, where children, families, and their four-legged friends are invited to decorate bikes, wagons, strollers, and leashes and parade in true patriotic style. 

Stick around Skansie Park for an afternoon full of fun, including live music, hotdogs, a classic pie-eating competition, a pie-baking showdown featuring local chefs, and a lively Kids Corner packed with hands-on crafts, games, and activities designed to keep little ones entertained.
