    Event Description:
    Join us on International Women's Day for an afternoon celebrating local women making waves with environmental films about the Elwha River and Salish Sea from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The program features Salish Sea After Dark, a short film produced by our Communications Specialist, Carly, chronicling our winter citizen science program. Following this short film, there will be a film discussion panel with Carly and Harbor WildWatch's Science Advisor, Mike Behrens. Then, we will screen Return of the River, a locally produced film about breaching the Elwha Dam. There will also be mimosas, fundraising, raffle prizes, and local pastries from The Manette Daily Cafe. Tickets are available online and at the door, and a portion of proceeds from tickets sales are donated to Harbor WildWatch.
