Do you have an hour a week to help a child build a brighter future? Communities In Schools of Peninsula (CISP) is looking for caring adults and high school students to become volunteer mentors for the 2016-2017 academic school year. CISP supports K-12 students with reading and math programs in nine Gig Harbor and Key Peninsula schools. CISP does whatever it takes to help kids stay in school and succeed in life. CISP staff work directly inside schools, and are able to connect students and families to basic and critical educational and community-based resources, tailored to each child’s specific needs.
