  • About Us

  • Since 1980 the Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce has served the community and played an active role in community development and economic restructuring in Gig Harbor. The Chamber has become a leader in paving the way to progress for business and industry in the area. Working closely with city government and other key organizations, such as the Pierce County Economic Development Division, the chamber strives to bring the best of all things to the area.

The Chamber facilitates strong leadership, networking, and business education among our active membership. We also provide businesses with tools and resources to help them connect and grow to meet their vision. To aid our members, we tackle educational issues, local legislation, and infrastructure needs, placing additional focus on retail and industrial needs.

Since 2009 we’ve worked to serve our local military community in a variety of ways. We host members of the Armed Forces at the Annual Awards Dinner, sponsor players at our annual Summer Swing Golf Tournament, and collect toys and donations for Joint Base Lewis McChord’s Santa’s Castle, a nonprofit that provides toys to military families during the holidays.

Our Vision is to be business advocates for a vibrant economy and inclusive community. Our Mission remains to take a strong leadership position for business and community interests that encourages diverse economic opportunities. We work to bring together leaders from businesses, government, nonprofits, and education to address the issues and needs of our community. If you are visiting Gig Harbor, stop by our visitor center and learn more about the great people who make up this beautiful waterfront community, and experience the hospitality that makes this such a special place to visit, live, and do business.
