Join us for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony marking the beginning of a vital new connection between the Key Peninsula and Gig Harbor. The Peninsula Transit Holiday Shuttle aims to provide free, safe, and convenient transportation for residents, seniors, workers, and visitors.
The 8-month long pilot program, launched in partnership with Pierce County, Around the Sound Transportation, and the Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce / Visit Gig Harbor, will help bridge communities and expand access to jobs, healthcare, shopping, and local events.
The Holiday Shuttle will operate seven days a week from Black Friday through December 26, before transitioning to weekday and Saturday service under the Peninsula Transit Pilot Program.
