It is always the first full weekend in June.
Where is the Maritime Gig Festival?
The festival is in downtown Gig Harbor between Pioneer and Rosedale on Harborview Drive next to Skansie Brothers Park.
Where does the Run start?
Check-in is in front of the Chamber Office which is located at 3125 Judson St.
When will I get my Parade Packet?
Parade packets will be mailed out on Friday, May 30th. Included in the packet will be the line-up time, location and your parade number. Liability Insurance is REQUIRED to participate in the parade and needs to go through THEIR own insurance agency; for more info, transfer to one of the Staff. Click Here for an example insurance form. The parade write-up (to be read by the announcer in front of the judge’s booth), needs to be in by Friday, May 17th.
What is the deadline to get my Parade entry in?
The Parade early bird deadline is by April 24th. Deadline for all applicants is May 15th, if space is available. Get the entry in as soon as possible to ensure reserving a place. The number of entries will be limited to 90. Click here to download application.
Will you mail me an application?
All applications are online and we do not mail them out. Make sure you have completed everything on the checklist. You can also pick one up at the Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce office located at 3125 Judson St.

Are there any Business Booth spaces available?
Business booth space is limited and on first come first serve basis. You can download the business booth application here. Deadline for business booths is May 1st.

What roads are closed?
Harborview Drive between Pioneer & Rosedale as well as a portion of Pioneer will be closed from Tarabochia to Harborview Drive on the day of the festival. Parking will be limited close to the festival site. Look for parking as you come down Pioneer. For a detailed list of road closure information please visit www.cityofgigharbor.net.
Is there a shuttle service to the festival?
Yes. The Pierce Transit trolley will be operating during the festival. Rider fare is $.50 for one trip or you can also buy a $1.00 all day fare!
